And now, a question
Dear Internet,
My lips are effing chapped. Please send remedies and cures. This isn't like a"put on some chapstick" kind of situation. Think deserts. Think cracking. Think Oh my Effing God my lips are going to secede from my face.
Thank you in advance.

Try Aquaphor (by Eucerin)...it is magic in a tube. I use it on myself and my kids and it works wonders. You can also use it on your hands when they get dry. They carry it at Walgreens and Fred Meyer. It is typically near the Eucerin hand creme. Good luck!
one word for you: Aquaphor.

I've always thought Vaseline works wonders. I have had chapped lips like that and I swear by it. Good luck.
All I can tell ya is that DO NOT fall into the Carmex or Blistex trap...they actually make it worse...Burts Bees is a nice rememdy but the menthol could sting...you may want to ask a pharmacist at your local grocery.
Aquaphor!
I'm going to rush out and buy this Aquaphor stuff, on the advice of your readers kerstin. Hopie gets chapped lips every single year. And she likes to be real funny by calling me from school and saying in her Napoleon Dynamite voice, "My lips hurt real bad!!"
I never heard of Aquaphor. I'll try it. Believe it or not a little Lansinoh will work wonders. A few times and it works a charm and none of that feeling the need to reapply a million times.
