So long suckers!

Wow, what a freaking busy month it was and this one is shaping up to be even busier. Did I mention that I am going to spend this month in Oaxaca, Mexico? I didn't? Oh pish, I swore I did. Alas, yes, it is true. You see I spent a good amount of the first half of my twenties in Oaxaca. I moved there to finish grad school and then, can you say "hang out" for another year or so.

I worked in a street cafe, had torrid affairs and generally screwed off. Mexico has been very kind and generous to me, leaving me bilingual and competent with a tortilla. This trip was prompted by my desire to show off my offspring to the natives and make all of the people here say " My GAWD, you can't bring your precious baby to a (gasp) third world country!!!" Last time I checked people had babies in Mexico too, and some are even surviving. Actually, I have a dear friend who has to have a mastectomy and I thought I would go hang out with her and cheer her up before the surgery. (Te quiero much amiguita Enoe!)

So long suckers! We have a baby passport, a sun hat and a long strip of cloth to make a sling out of.
