I'm back yo

So I am so sorry for not updating in so long. See, we had to put our dog to sleep last week and it was a major family crisis. Poor girl. She fell suddenly ill and it was just awful and we miss her so much. That did not stop me, however, from making an offer on an adorable french bulldog in Seattle that I am sure I won't get but am spending an unhealthy amount of time fantisizing about.

Between dog-grieving and fantasy -dog- obsessing there hasn't been much time for blogging you see. I will say that I had a great in-person blogger meetup with Marlynn whose super cool blog I highly recommend. Her son is so adorable and has the most delicious cheeks ever. Goldita and I had a great time and would love to see them again!

Thanksgiving in Idaho was good. I ate my weight in yams and cranberry sauce and pawned my kid off as much as possible with the grandparents so we could soak our fat hairy bodies in the hot tub where said fat hairiness kept others away so the Holiday Inn pool area was just for us. It was great.

The only bummer was that my husband has sleep apnea and sleeps with a machine to prevent snoring. We forgot the machine and all I can say that between snoring and waking and earplugs and a bed that was SO NOT similar to my Sleep Number bed, no one slept. On the upside Davey got up at 5:00 am Friday since he was already awake and bought a camcorder so now we can document every coo the kid makes. Should make for a great way to bore guests out of the house who overstay their welcome.

You have managed to make me laugh and cry from the same post! I'm so sorry about your dog. That's so hard.

Little Boo and I had a great time meeting you and Goldie! What fun - when's our next adventure playdate?

Have fun with the new camcorder. Make sure you record all of Goldie's icky moments as well as her glowing ones :)

So sorry about your dog. They are family so I can see why it would be a family crisis. I ended up getting 2 puppies from our pound after our dog was hit by a car last year to ease the pain a bit.

Hey I felt the same way about trying to hold out on the formula but I finally had to start giving it to him after we breastfed. I stopped bfing at 3.5 mths though so he's all formula now!

Love the picture below! Your little girl is adorable!

Nice - I've asked Santa for a camcorder too - that way I can video my husband's snoring and prove to him just how disruptive it is - maybe that way he can get a CPAP too!
