After months of anticipation, excitment and occasionally dread, I have officially bonded with my offspring. The enormity of the task at hand has finally soaked in and I am totally wrapped around her unbelievably freaking cute fingers!
We had to say goodbye to our dog rainbow this week. We didn't want to see her go, but there was a difference of opinion happening. Rainbow wanted to eat the baby and we disagreed. Apparently Australian cattle dogs (Aka red heeler) may be man's best friend, but baby's nemesis. She was Davey's child before we got married and this is just killing him. I would really like to get another dog (one that eats kibble, not babies) asap, but I will wait until Davey is ready.
Bow, we miss you already.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear about your dog. As you know, I completely sympathize with you on this one :(
Oh no! Cosmo Dawg prefers to eat little dogs than dog food - lucky Sierra didn't get lumped in with little dogs. I can't even imagine how horrible it would feel to have to lose her!
