Poop Part II
Do not despair dear readers, the eagle has landed. The poor babe started screaming in pain last night, or maybe she was screaming because she was tired of Diaper Watch 2005, in either case I took her into urgent care where she screamed like "No child of mine will ever do that in a public place". It was awful! She screamed till she turned magenta, then white. She made goat-bleating sounds. She cried so hard that she ceased to make sounds. My toes curled. They took x-rays of the non-pooping little pooper and discovered what I already knew: She was full of poop. several suppositories and tears later she pooped a poop that will forever be remembered. And for those who asked, it was indeed, yellow and seedy.

how old is your baby? My baby is 4 1/2 months old, and completely breast fed still. (woohoo for me) My baby recently started to poop funny as well... only every 3 days or so. the doc says not to worry, but i think its weird, and I don't like it! She doesn't seem to be fussy though- even still, it bothers me!
Hooray for the poop at last! I remember at baby group back in Boo's early days, other moms would talk about their babies not pooping for several days, and my doc said it's normal for young babies not to poop for up to 6 or 7 days. Holy cow that's a long time! Anyway, glad for the victorious pooping.
I couldn't wait to get back on line tonight and get the poop update! thanks for including the color and texture LOL

Sorry it had to come to this, but at least the deed is done now and I hope she can get back on track. Hang in there, Mom!
Awwwww. My poor baby! I hope she starts feeling better VERY soon
