By popular demand.....

And I thought the readers were sick of hearing about poop! Well, the poor kid had to go in for baby's first barium enema last Friday. I was totally prepared for major trauma, screaming, chaos etc. but alas it was not to be. There was crying, but it was me, not Goldie. I can't believe what a mellow babe I have!! I do wish she would have refrained from vomiting on my new sweater until the dr. and I had finished shaking hands, but no complaints. Anyway, I have to take her to a surgeon who will interpret the results on Thurs. Please send prayers. The poor kid is so bound up that a BARIUM FREAKING ENEMA only made her go a little. She seems happy enough though.

I cannot sing the praises of the baby bjorn enough. If you don't have one and don't think you need one or if you had one and thought it isn't worth the straps that seem complicated like trigonometry.....THINK AGAIN! This is the BEST THING EVER! I am so in love. I can sit down, stand up, and after a sequence of events you don't even want to know about, I found I can even lay down in it and SLEEP!!! Think about it.....cooking, typing, anything I want!!

How long has it been since your babe pooped? My doc says its normal for babies to go a long time w/o pooping when they are breastfed. Have you thought about getting a second opinion? Poor sweet baby~ no fun to have to go through all that business. I hope the test results come back good!!

Aw, poor Goldie is still having trouble in the poop department. I hope they figure out what it is and that it's something stupidly simple to get her in the groove.

Hang in there. I'm here for you!
